Shop Policies – Eighty Two Colours
1. Returns & Exchanges
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, no reason required, as per UK Distance Selling Regulations .
- Return window: Please notify us within 14 days, and return the item within another 14 days.
- Condition: Items must be unused, in original condition, with all tags or packaging intact.
- Return postage: The cost of return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty.
- Refunds: Once we receive your return and it meets the criteria, a full refund (excluding original shipping) will be issued to your original payment method.
- Exchanges: Available where inventory allows, simply return your item and place an order for the replacement.
Exceptions: Custom orders, personalised items, or made-to-order pieces are non-refundable unless faulty .
2. Faulty or Damaged Goods
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, please contact us within 30 days of receipt. We’ll arrange a refund or replacement promptly and cover return postage when the issue is our fault.
3. Your Legal Rights (UK)
- Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt.
- If goods are faulty, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have up to 30 days for a full refund or, after that, the option for repair or replacement, for up to six months.
4. How to Return or Request an Exchange
- Contact Us: Use the form at the bottom of any page or email us directly at eightytwocolours@outlook.com. Include your order number, reason for return or exchange, and whether you’d prefer a refund or exchange.
- Return Instructions: We’ll reply with return guidelines and the correct address.
- Ship back the item: Secure it safely and consider using a tracked service.
- Refund or exchange completed: Once received, we’ll process it as soon as possible.
5. Processing Time
Returns or exchanges are processed within 7–14 working days of receipt. We’ll email you once processing is complete.
6. Additional Notes
- Return shipping costs are non-refundable, unless your item is faulty.
- Please keep your proof of postage until your refund or exchange is confirmed.
- If you’re missing an item from your order, let us know immediately, we’ll make it right.
