Care Instructions
To keep your crochet pieces looking their best, follow these simple care tips:
1. Washing
- Hand wash in cool or lukewarm water with a gentle detergent or baby shampoo.
- Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals, as they can damage fibres and fade colours.
2. Drying
- Gently squeeze (do not wring) to remove excess water.
- Reshape the item while damp.
- Lay flat on a clean, dry towel and allow to air dry away from direct sunlight or heat.
3. Storing
- Store folded in a cool, dry place.
- Avoid hanging crochet items for long periods to prevent stretching.
- Keep away from sharp objects or Velcro to prevent snags.
4. Special Notes
- If your item contains multiple colours, wash with similar colours to prevent bleeding.
- Delicate yarns such as mohair, alpaca, or silk may require dry cleaning – check any additional care notes provided with your item.
- Blocking after washing can help maintain the shape and stitch definition.
Polymer Clay Earrings
- Always store earrings in a cool and dry box to prevent scratches or breakage.
- Avoid contact with makeup, hair products and perfume as it may stain the earrings.
- Avoid contact with alcohol as it may dissolve the polymer clay.
- To clean your earrings, lightly wipe it with a lint-free jewellery cloth.
All earring posts, backings and jump rings are made from stainless steel (unless otherwise stated) - suitable for those with sensitive skin. They are secured with UV resin or liquid clay.
